Frog Island

Frog Island Wines is run by Sarah and her Viticulturist husband Nigel. With no other employees every aspect of the business has a personal touch and down to earth approach.

The range includes Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz and Sparkling Red. Our wines are available through mail order, retailers and restaurants with some exported to Europe and Asia.

Frog Island is a real place and the name Frog Island is taken from a small locality inland from the seaside town of Robe in the Limestone Coast of South Australia.

The climate here is cool, with strong coastal influences. The soil is sandy loam over limestone, known as Terra Rossa, giving excellent drainage and allowing control of the available moisture in the soil so berry size can be kept to a minimum.
